About Us

Kays of Grantham originated from a market stall in Grantham back in 2012, specializing in jewellery and scarves. The venture took root when I struggled to find elegant costume jewellery for social occasions. Within two years the market presence expanded to neighbouring towns, attending markets five days a week. Despite the appeal of interacting with diverse customers in different towns daily, the challenges of harsh weather conditions for car loading, stall set-up, and the nomadic market routine posed difficulties.

In 2015, a pivotal moment arrived for Kays of Grantham when I seized the opportunity to transition into a boutique space and diversify the product range by introducing ladies fashion. Over time the boutique underwent transformations, experimenting with various concepts that resonated positively with customers, while discarding those that didn’t quite resonate. This adaptive approach endures, with consistently enhancing the existing collections to offer a distinctive and enriching shopping experience.

Fast forward to 2024 and I decided to semi-retire from the business and closed the physical shop.  Not wanting to let my loyal customers down, and my passion for my business, I have decided to continue offering my best selling lines via my online shop and by returning to Grantham market and other events.
